Nose

Tropical and citrus

Palate

Pineapple and orange, a touch of sweetness and a vibrant acidity

Growing Conditions

The 4 varietals in this vintage come from our Swede and Matheson vineyards which are some of the northern most vineyards in Leelanau County, Michigan. The farms are in the center of the peninsula putting them both about 1.5 miles east and 1.5 miles west of Lake Michigan/Grand Traverse Bay. This means cooler summer and warmer fall.

Harvest

This wine is built in the vineyard. We pick specific rows of each varietal across both farms to create the field blend.

Winemaking

The grapes are harvested, pressed and fermented together. A run through the cross flow before bottling.

Appearance

Light yellow

Food Pairing

Perfect with something a bit spicy like Pad Thai and simple Mexican street tacos. With the vibrant acidity, it is also great at cutting through creamier cheeses.
