Growing Conditions

Cool spring. Warm conditions during the summer were followed by early fall rains. Mid-October was drier, and warm temperatures lead to late season ripening.

Winemaking

Both the Cabernet Franc and Merlot were harvested the same day. The fruit was crushed, destemmed, and immediately went into open top stainless steel vessels to begin the process of on-skin fermentation. The grapes were pressed on November 3, 2021, then sent to barrel.
