One of the most unique offerings in the 2 Lads portfolio, Cabernet Franc Blanc takes our signature red grape and reimagines it as an aromatic, textural white wine unlike any other you've yet experienced. Striking aromatics of wet cobblestone and fleshy, yellow fruit. The palate exhibits a dynamic interplay of bright white peach and lemon curd juxtaposed against the wine's rich, silky texture - a result of eight months aging in oak and Acacia.

Aromas: leather, black currant, hint of roasted jalapeño, black tea. Flavors: dark cherry, black currant, cigar box. Finish: good acid, long, chewy, great structure.

Extended lees aging gives this wine a richness and depth that you won't expect, but will wonder how you ever lived without. Some of Riesling's innate brightness is toned down in favor of mineral aromatics (flint, wet slate) and rich melon, candied ginger, and Kaffir lime on the palate.

BIG! Everything about our 2022 Rosé of Pinot Gris is BIG. The color is BIG like a summer sunset. The aromatics are BIG - think fleshy, juicy pink grapefruit right off the tree. The flavors are BIG and the texture, polished to perfection by a short time in oak, is - wait for it! - BIG. You'll want a BIG glass to contain it all.

While there's plenty of finesse and elegance here, the D. Cuvée is more about showcasing the bigger, darker side of Pinot. Brambly blackberry, blueberry, and dark cherry fruit predominate, with rich cola, cedar, and baking spice not far behind. The finish is lengthy with textured tannins. If it's this good now, we can't wait to see what another 5-7 years in the bottle will bring.

Bright, vibrant red fruit character - ripe strawberry, Montmorency cherry, and a hint of cranberry. Fine grained tannins and a lengthy finish. This bottle makes a persuasive argument that Pinot (not Riesling!) is perhaps northern Michigan's premier wine grape.

While we're perhaps best known for our single varietal bottlings of Cab Franc, this wine is a stunning reminder of how Cab and Merlot in equal measure make for great dancing partners. The Cab Franc brings the wonderful structure, elegance, and violet aromatics; Merlot counters with soft plums, dark chocolate, and jammy richness on the palate. Firm tannins ensure that this wine will stand up to your favorite grilled cuisine this summer.

90 days of lees aging resulted in a richly textured Pinot Gris with plenty of weight in the mid palate. Heady aromatics of citrus and freshly cut green apple; firm cantaloupe and a classic "twist of lime" finish.

Beautiful golden color. The richness of Pinot Grigio adds floral and honeyed aromas along with fresh golden almost tropical fruit. Wonderful mousse and full texture really make this wine feel luxurious and lead to a dynamic palate of fresh apples and dried golden fruits supported by acidity and freshness in the finish.

For those of you who prefer pretty fruit to ponderous oak in your Chardonnay, this one's for you.
