Winemaking

Head Winemaker Brian Hosmer and his talented cellar team artfully craft our sustainably-grown fruit into an array of wines to charm every palate. Without any oak intervention and exclusively fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks, this wine stands up as a direct and spontaneous expression between fruit, soil, and the cool climate of our vineyards.

Food Pairing

Gewürztraminer's inherent sweetness and exotic fruitiness are perfect to offset bitter greens, vegetables, and spices like turmeric, ginger, and nutmeg. This golden nectar matches perfectly with slightly sweet pork and poultry and seasoned and tangy dishes, such as many Middle Eastern and Moroccan tagines, Indian curries, and Chinese and Southeast Asian cuisine.
For instance, our Gewürztraminer pairs perfectly with the following:

Smoked salmon, fish taco, fish curry
Thai coconut soup
Chinese dumplings, rolls, and wok dishes
Sweet and sour pork, duck, or chicken
Buffalo wings
Honey-glazed ham
Pungent or blue cheeses such as Gruyère, Münster, Stilton, Gorgonzola, or Taleggio
Desserts with tropical fruit or spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, rose water, and cardamoms, such as apple crumble, rich cinnamon rolls, gingerbread, and Turkish delight.
Best pairing veggies: artichokes, bell peppers, eggplants, fresh or dried chilies, squash, carrots, sweet potatoes, tempeh, coconut, dried fruit, and red onions. Perfect with vegetable stir fry
