Timberlee and Cedar Lake Vineyards.

Harvest

Beautiful sunny conditions on October 19th with a high right around 70 degrees. October 20th started off nice, and towards the end of the day rain came through and a cold front followed behind it. The Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc were all the last picks of the 2021 harvest.

Bottling

Hand bottled in June of 2023

Winemaking

Four-day cold soak followed by inoculation of yeast that lasted about 2 weeks before pressing. Malolactic fermentation was co-inoculated midway through primary fermentation and finished in the barrel.

Aging

Aged 18 months in a blend of new French oak and neutral barrels.
