Equally gratifying in taste and hue, Bel Lago’s 2019 brut sparkling Rose charms the casual wine drinker as well as the connoisseur. Sipping through the effervescence, a palate of blueberries, tart cherries, raspberries and lemon‐lime soda emerges.
Winemaking
Cold soaked on the skins for 24 hours, this Pinot Noir sparkling Rose was fermented in a stainless‐steel tank at a low temperature to increase aromatics using the yeast Vin 13. The wine was then lees‐aged for several months to enhance the flavors and mouthfeel before its secondary fermentation. In the traditional method.
